Come see our unique wedding destination right here in the Charlotte area - you will be glad you did.  We are conveniently located just one mile from Interstate 85 in quaint Belmont and we are less than ten minutes from the Charlotte Douglas airport.  Not only is the location over 110 years old, but it is rich in history in many different ways.  The building was formerly the Majestic Mill in Belmont where many families worked for years.  It later became Bisque Imports for about 10 years until 2013 when it became the perfect fit for Catawba River Antique Mall.  In 2015, about 5000 square feet of the space was transformed into a beautiful and rustic wedding venue with lots of natural features.  In 2019 we have added a new 10,000 square foot space that appeals to couples looking for an upscale, elegant, industrial space with custom lighting and features throughout. 

 

Unfortunately in September of 2021, Emory, my wonderful husband, soul mate and business partner passed away.  We discussed how we would restructure the business if something ever happened to one of us.  And because the larger venue is the one that was booked 95 percent more, our plan was to close the smaller, Vintage Lofts venue and convert it into other space for the antique mall.  It will warehouse all of the wedding decorations and have a set up for live streaming sales.  I'm sure anyone who met us, can understand the great loss I feel.  And for those of you that never met Emory, I am truly sorry.  He was loving, generous, extremely positive and a thoughtful man.  The kind of man that any Mother would be happy for their daughter to find. I was a very blessed lady!  Now I will honor him with all that we talked about and do my best to make him smile.

If you are looking for a beautiful space with lots of potential to create your magical wedding day, then give us a look.  It is so much better in person too.  

 

We are in an industrial area of Belmont, so when people come in and get their first look, I have heard oohs and aahs, sometimes tears and gasps.  It is also a great location for a unique and special wedding location across Gaston and Mecklenburg counties to include Charlotte, Belmont and Gastonia.  We are only 10 minutes away from Charlotte Douglas airport with 4 or 5 hotels, some with shuttle service, only a mile or two away.  

Majestic Mill Weddings and Catawba River Antique Mall are found in a truly beautiful historic building with maple hardwood floors and hard pine columns.  Give your wedding guests something they will talk about for years to come.  Your big day will create many great new memories and guests can also take a stroll down memory lane by browsing any aisle in the adjacent antique mall with over 300 booths.  It is a creative way to bring history along with you in your new lives together.
